However, their existing website was outdated, lacking user-friendly design and responsive features. To meet their goal of providing seamless, self-guided solutions to their audience, they partnered with us for a website redesign that focused on modernizing the experience, improving navigation, and optimizing performance. THE CHALLENGE
Simple Solutions for Vets faced an outdated website that did not maximize the user experience, especially for mobile users. The site needed to better accommodate its primary audience: licensed veterinarians, hospital managers, technicians, and industry professionals. With visitors unsure of the solutions they needed, the website’s navigation and content presentation required significant overhaul to help them self-identify issues and guide them toward the right services. Additionally, ensuring that the site was optimized for mobile and met accessibility guidelines was essential.
THE SOLUTION
The existing website for Simple Solutions for Vets was outdated, and it wasn’t providing an optimal user experience on either desktop or mobile devices. The website’s main objective was to deliver as much information as possible based on the visitor’s needs while guiding them to contact the Simple Solutions for Vets team. To address this, we planned for a sleek, dynamic, and engaging design. The structure would be strategically organized to provide both a seamless user experience and an efficient process for visitors to find the information they needed. By focusing on UX optimization, mobile-friendliness, content-building, and user-specific pathways, we aimed to create a site that was not only informative but also engaging and user-friendly.
THE PROCESS
Our process began with a comprehensive discovery phase, where we gathered all relevant information about the business goals, user personas, and existing site data. With this understanding, we moved into the design phase, creating a structure that would allow for seamless navigation and a visual design that was both modern and functional. The development phase was built on a sophisticated WordPress framework to ensure the site would be mobile-responsive and offer speed and asset optimization.
A key component of the process was ensuring that the new website met all necessary security standards, including access to Google Analytics and Google Search Console for continuous site performance tracking. Additionally, we focused on meeting WCAG AA 2.1 accessibility guidelines to ensure the site would be accessible to all users. The project also included ongoing support for training the team at Simple Solutions for Vets, ensuring that they would be able to manage the site and its content after launch.
Throughout the project, we worked closely with the client to refine the design and ensure all requirements were met. We also made provisions for potential future updates and improvements after the website was live, ensuring the site could evolve over time to meet changing needs.
