Graymont is a global leader in calcium-based solutions, serving critical industries across North America and Asia-Pacific. With a growing emphasis on sustainability, innovation, and community impact, Graymont needed a complete overhaul of its international website to better reflect their mission and meet the needs of a diverse, global audience. MOSAIC was selected as Graymont’s digital partner to lead a full website transformation. This included deep discovery, strategic architecture planning, user-centered design, custom development, and seamless content migration. THE CHALLENGE
Graymont’s previous website presented multiple challenges:
- A fragmented site structure made navigation unintuitive for both internal and external audiences.

THE SOLUTION
MOSAIC approached the engagement holistically, delivering a multi-phase solution encompassing Discovery, Architecture, Design, Development, and Content Strategy.
Discovery Phase
The project began with a comprehensive research initiative to ensure the site was informed by real user needs and business goals. This phase included stakeholder interviews, user surveys, internal workshops, focus groups, and customer feedback surveys. These insights were used to create user personas, define use cases, prioritize features using the MoSCoW method, and map user journeys. A detailed requirements document outlined all functional and non-functional needs to guide the remainder of the project.
Architecture Phase
With a strong foundation from the discovery phase, MOSAIC developed an intuitive and scalable site architecture. This included defining core sections like Solutions, Products, Sustainability, Global Presence, and Technical Resources, while ensuring seamless navigation pathways and logical content hierarchies that support both current and future needs.
Design Phase
High-fidelity mockups were created to bring the architecture to life, using modern, responsive, and accessible design principles. Interactive components such as a dynamic product filtering system, SDS Finder Tool, interactive map, sustainability report, and personalized career interest form, were built into the UX to engage users and support key business functions. The design system reflected Graymont’s brand identity and emphasized storytelling around innovation and sustainability.
Development Phase
MOSAIC developed a fully custom frontend and backend framework that brought the approved designs to life. All interactive tools were developed and tested for functionality, responsiveness, and performance. Accessibility features were implemented to meet WCAG 2.1 AA standards. Rigorous QA and performance optimization ensured a smooth and reliable user experience across browsers and devices.
Copywriting & Migration Phase
To ensure consistent messaging and SEO optimization, MOSAIC reviewed and refined all pages of website content. The refined copy was integrated into the new website and formatted for readability, accessibility, and search performance. Migration and final QA ensured all content displayed correctly across devices and was aligned with Graymont’s tone and strategy, with a strong focus on innovation and sustainability as a global leader in calcium-based solutions.
